Needless to say, employing JailHost can't replace the security measures you need to take by keeping your scripts up-to-date and using long and complex passwords, yet it will help you to restrict the damage to one site only.

JailHost in Web Hosting

If you host your Internet sites inside a web hosting account from our firm, you could protect them using the JailHost feature with just a few clicks inside your Hepsia Control Panel. The option is provided with all packages and can be enabled for each folder because the domains and subdomains in Hepsia have individual folders, so that files for various websites don't get mixed up like it frequently happens with other Control Panels. We have not activated JailHost by default because you might use scripts that require access to folders outside the primary website folder and this option could interfere with their correct operation, but shielding all other folders is really easy. In case a secured website gets hacked for some reason, we will be able to restore it in a short time because we will have multiple daily backup copies of your entire account and you will even be able to search the available backups using Hepsia.

JailHost in Semi-dedicated Hosting

JailHost comes with all our semi-dedicated hosting packages and you will be able to activate it with a few clicks. It is not turned on by default as we don't want to prevent some scripts that may need to access multiple folders in your account from functioning properly. You'll be able to enable JailHost for all other sites that you have from the Hepsia Control Panel and this can be done quickly even if you lack previous experience. What enables us to offer JailHost is the way in which Hepsia manages multiple domains - they all have separate folders that can be "locked". In comparison, other widespread Control Panels feature add-on domains and the content of the latter is kept in the primary domain folder, so if a single Internet site is hacked, the whole account is hacked, which is not the case with Hepsia. If a site gets damaged despite your efforts, we'll be able to recover it the way it was right away since we'll keep several daily backup copies of your entire account.
