Dot NAME Domains

Established in 2001, the .NAME generic top-level extension is the sole TLD supposed to be for personal websites only. These domain names can consist of personal or fictitious names, nicknames and/or other labels people are popular by. At the beginning, just 3rd-level registrations were allowed, so if you wished to reserve john.doe.name, you were supposed to do that under .doe.name. In 2004, however, the registration procedures were loosened and second-level registrations were also allowed. Already purchased 3rd-level domain names remained online.

Through our firm, you can acquire your dot NAME domain for a period between one and ten years. You will be able to alter the WHOIS contact info, to park your domain, to edit Custom DNS records, etc. You can also move over an existing domain to our firm if you acquire its EPP transfer key from the present registration service provider and we will renew it as soon as the transfer has been done.
